About Mosambi

Sathukudi is a tiny tree with uneven branches and brownish-grey bark that grows up to 8 meters (26 feet) tall. It bears a thorny crown with 15–75 mm (0.59–2.95 in) long thorns. The petioles are 8–29 mm (0.31–1.14 in) long and have a narrow but pronounced winged appearance. Compound leaves with acuminate leaflets measuring 50–170 mm (2.0–6.7 in) in length and 28–89 mm (1.1–3.5 in) in width.

Sathukudi Fruits are oblong and green, turning yellow as they ripen and have a greenish pulp. The pith is roughly 5 mm (0.20 in) thick and whitish. The fruit looks more like a greenish orange than a delicious lime, despite its name. In tropical and subtropical conditions, Citrus limetta thrives. It bears fruit between the ages of 5 and 7, with peak production between the ages of 10 and 20. Seeds are available in online. In the Rutaceae family, the Sathukudi plant will find in an online nursery.
